This post is for everyone who doesn't know about Actionmod, because he will be the star of some of my future flashes.
WARNING: THIS POST IS VERY LENGTHLY FOR ANYONE WHO HAS A SHORT ATTENTION SPAN!
Actionis Modrin (Actionmod for short) was just a normal teenage boy living in New York City with his brother, Henry Modrin. Actionmod complained about not having a girlfriend (because, apparently, everyone else in the entire city has one on account of Spring Fever) until Katie "Flower" Domenique struck his eyes. They immediately fell in love and started dating, making a reletevely evil boy named James jealous. James kidnapps Katie (the first of many attempts), takes her to his abandoned-warehouse-at-the-edge-of-the -city layer, and hangs her over a bottomless well.
Actionmod springs into action for the first time (along with Henry) and the duo then pursues James to his layer. Actionmod and Henry defeat James, only to have him turn into Aku, his dark form. Actionmod pushes Aku down the bottomless well and rescues Katie.
Now this is where the interesting part comes in. Six years later, Actionmod marries Katie and lives in a house with Henry and Kay, the zoned-out brother of Actionmod who is always listening to music. Actionmod, Katie, Henry, and Kay have many adventures together in New York, until an odd-looking airship crashes into Actionmod's house. They all get into the airship and start messing around with the buttons, only to send it zipping through a wormhole to another dimension!
The foursome is sent whooshing over an endless sea, that is, until the ship runs out of gas! Henry and Kay sacrafice their lives to let Katie and Actionmod escape (on account of there being only two escape pods) and the two lovebirds tumble toward the earth below. They land on an island populated by humanoid lifeforms. The mayor of the town on the island believes the pair to be gifts from God, so they name the island Actionland in their honor. Actionmod and Katie start making a living on the island and discover Henry and Kay alive in the wrecked airship later on.
Meanwhile, back in New York, Aku (apparently revived from his fall into the bottomless pit) has a pet rat named Mousey. One night, while Aku was asleep, an evil wind blew Mousey out the window and into a sewer. The dirty toxic sewer ooze mutated Mousey into a gigantic anthropomorphic monster, and the sewer ways transported him to somewhere underneath Actionland. He decided to make this sewer culdesac his new home. He found a dusty chest full of a thousand mice and dipped them in the ooze, mutating them into his henchmen. Mousey (and his Rat Troopers) became the main villian of the Actionmod series, constantly kidnapping Katie.
So, yeah. That's the summarized version of the rediculously long backstory of Actionmod. I'll be adding trivia, Actionland Geography, and Character Bios soon!
